The flagship rural mobile journalism course introduces students to rural digital journalism specifically from a feminist perspective. It encourages them to recognize and understand gender, caste, and patriarchy in Indian society, and how these affect the media we create. The course develops digital media skills in audiences with little or no exposure to media or technology, preparing them to be confident, active digital storytellers in their communities, as well as prepared for a range of jobs in the digital workforce.
